The June 13 TIR launch has been cancelled due to weather. For the first time in club history we have had to cancel the June launch due to RAIN. Of course, we've had many years when we have had to cancel a June launch due to fire weather, but not due to wet weather.
This concludes our spring flying season, as the BLM does not permit us to fly during the hot, dry summer months. Our launch season will pick up again with the fall season starting on October 3, weather permitting.
In the meantime, there will be several regional rocketry gatherings including some fantastic launches at Brothers, Oregon, with the OROC folks. And, we will have a crew from Idaho attending the XPRS launch at Blackrock, NV in September. If you are interested in these launches please contact a club member or officer for information.
We will still have our regular monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. Note the venue change though, we will be having the next meeting at the Idaho Pizza company on Fairview Ave, near Cole Rd. See the meeting information on this site for more details.
Have a great summer, and build some nice projects!
